Black es una narradora interdisciplinaria cuya pr\u00e1ctica abarca la poes\u00eda en prosa, la no ficci\u00f3n l\u00edrica y la ficci\u00f3n literaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su novela debut, BLESSED NOWHERE, fue galardonada con el Premio Guernica de Ficci\u00f3n Literaria, fue seleccionada para una opci\u00f3n cinematogr\u00e1fica y ha sido adaptada a guion. Es autora de otros cuatro libros nominados a premios: LESSONS OF CHAOS AND DISASTER (poes\u00eda en prosa); A HARD GOLD THREAD (no ficci\u00f3n l\u00edrica); y BEWILDERNESS (poes\u00eda en prosa).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Black fue galardonada con el Premio Price al Liderazgo en la Ense\u00f1anza, y su cap\u00edtulo sobre escritura interdisciplinaria en la educaci\u00f3n de Arte y Dise\u00f1o fue incluido en la antolog\u00eda TEACHING CREATIVE WRITING IN CANADA.
