PANEL 205, WITH NAOMI KLEIN
Incorporating a Message in your Piece: Explicit or Implicit

We’re excited to announce our newest addition to the 2017 San Miguel Writers’ Conference, a panel featuring Naomi Klein. On February 16, 2017 at 9:00 AM we will be presenting “Incorporating a Message in your Piece: Explicit or Implicit.” The panel will be moderated by Jay Vogt and include Naomi Klein, Judyth Hill, Iraj Isaac Rahmim, and Tawni Waters.

Many writers want to incorporate a social message, a point of view, into their writing. Our panelists will share strategies for writing with passion, writing about a cause, writing to inform and to advocate — whether implicit or explicit — and in a variety of genres. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to learn and discuss writing with a message from the point of view of a poet, a novelist, a personal essay writer, and a non-fiction advocacy writer.
