Requiem for my Brother by Marian Botsford Fraser

Marian Botsford Fraser is an award-winning Canadian writer, broadcaster, journalist and critic. She is the author of four books of creative nonfiction, including the acclaimed memoir, Requiem for My Brother, and most recently, Acting for Freedom: Fifty Years of Civil Liberties Activism in Canada. Her work has appeared in GRANTA, The Walrus, MORE Canada, and the Globe and Mail. Between 2006 and 2012, Marian was Books Editor for More Canada. She has been a documentary-maker and host on CBC Radio, for programs like IDEAS, Tapestry and Testament. For the past six years, Marian has been Chair of PEN International’s Writers in Prison Committee. She lives in Toronto.
