Refund Policy for Tickets/Packages
Within 7 days of purchase:
- Full Refunds: We will always issue a full refund (minus online credit card fees), if the refund is requested within seven days of purchase until December 15, 2024.
After December 15, 2024:
- Half Refunds: If a refund is requested before December 15 (Midnight), we will issue half of the order’s purchase price as a refund (minus online credit card fees).
- No Refunds: No refunds will be issued after December 15, 2024 (Midnight).

What can I do if I can’t attend the conference, and December 15, 2024 has already passed?
You can choose to
- donate your order
- give it to a friend
- re-sell it (transfer to a third-party).

Donate Your Tickets/Packages
The Spanish-side of the Writers’ Conference is possible only because of the donations from generous patrons. If you have a package or ticket(s) that you are unable to use, why not consider donating your order. Donations will go directly to our scholarship program for Spanish speaking writers. Your donation of a package or ticket(s) can help writers who would normally not be able to afford to attend the conference take part in this event.

Transfer Tickets/Packages to Third-Party
If you would like to transfer tickets or a package to another name, please follow these steps:
- The original purchaser must forward the original purchase confirmation email to registrar@sanmiguelwritersconference.org
- In this email, the original purchaser must specify the full name and email address of the person to whom the transfer of tickets or packages will be made.
- We will transfer the order to the new name and will send a new confirmation email to the new owner.
Notes: Only completed transactions (paid in full) are transferable. If unpaid tickets are canceled, these tickets will be sold to the public. Tickets will be transferred only with the written consent of the original buyer. The San Miguel Writers’ Conference is not responsible for any exchange of money. Any exchange of money is the responsibility of the two parties.
Política de Reembolso de boletos y paquetes
Dentro de los 7 días siguientes a la compra:
- Reembolsos completos: Siempre emitiremos un reembolso completo (menos los gastos de la tarjeta de crédito en línea), si el reembolso se solicita dentro de los 7 días siguientes a la compra hasta el 15 de diciembre de 2024.
Después del 15 de diciembre de 2024:
- Reembolso de la mitad: Si se solicita un reembolso antes del 15 de diciembre de 2024 (medianoche), emitiremos la mitad del precio de compra del pedido como reembolso (menos los gastos de la tarjeta de crédito en línea).
- No Reembolsos: No habrá reembolsos después del 15 de diciembre de 2024 (medianoche).
Las solicitudes de reembolso deberán enviarse por correo electrónico a register@sanmiguelwritersconference.org
¿Qué puedo hacer si no puedo asistir a la conferencia y ya ha pasado el 15 de diciembre de 2024?
Puede optar por:
- donar su pedido
- regalarlo a un amigo
- revenderlo (transferirlo a un tercero).

Done su Paquete o Boletos
El Programa en Español del Festival de Escritores sólo es posible gracias a las donaciones de generosos patrocinadores. Si usted tiene un paquete o boleto(s) que no puede usar, ¿por qué no considera donar su pedido? Las donaciones irán directamente a nuestro Programa de Becas para Jóvenes Escritores de habla hispana. Su donación de un paquete o boleto(s) puede ayudar a los escritores que normalmente no podrían asistir a la conferencia a participar en este evento.

Transferencia a un tercero
Si desea transferir boletos o un paquete a otro nombre, siga estos pasos:
- El comprador original debe enviar el correo electrónico de confirmación de compra original a registrar@sanmiguelwritersconference.org
- En este correo electrónico, el comprador original debe especificar el nombre completo y la dirección de correo electrónico de la persona a quien se le hará la transferencia de boletos o paquetes.
- Se transferirá el pedido al nuevo nombre y se enviará un nuevo correo electrónico de confirmación al nuevo propietario.
Nota: Solo las transacciones pagadas en su totalidad son transferibles. Si se cancelan boletos no pagados, estos boletos se venderán al público. Los boletos se transferirán sólo con el consentimiento por escrito del comprador original. El Festival de Escritores en San Miguel no se hace responsable de ningún intercambio de dinero. Cualquier intercambio de dinero es responsabilidad de las dos partes.
