He has represented numerous New York Times bestselling and award-winning authors of fiction and nonfiction. With extensive editorial experience, Ryan is dedicated to helping writers shape exceptional manuscripts and build enduring publishing careers.

He has represented ten #1 New York Times bestselling authors of fiction and nonfiction and his clients have won or been nominated for many awards. He taught for several years at Pratt and the New School MFA program and earned a MFA in literature and fiction from Bennington College.
