Faculty Applications

We are delighted to announce that faculty applications for the 2027 San Miguel Writers’ Conference & Literary Festival are officially open!

 Application period: February 15 – March 15

Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from outstanding writers, teachers, and publishing professionals from around the world, and we select approximately 60–70 workshops for our program. The process is highly competitive and carefully reviewed by a committee of more than 20 readers.

If you are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and sharing your craft in a vibrant, bilingual, and international literary community, we warmly encourage you to apply.

If you have applied in the past and were not selected, please apply again. We have continued to streamline and strengthen our process, and many of our faculty are accepted after more than one submission. A previous rejection should never discourage you; exceptional proposals rise every year.

The San Miguel Writers’ Conference is known for its collaborative spirit, rigorous programming, and deeply engaged participants. We look forward to discovering new voices, fresh perspectives, and inspiring seasoned teachers for our 2027 program.
