She also acquires and edits acclaimed works of literary fiction and nonfiction. An accomplished writer herself, Jynne’s essays and poetry have appeared in leading publications, including The New York Times and The New York Review of Books.

Jynne Dilling is the Vice President and Deputy Publisher of Riverhead Books where she oversees the publishing campaigns for many prize-winning writers, including Nobel Prize winner Olga Tokarczuk, Booker Prize winner Marlon James, Pulitzer Prize winner Hernan Diaz, and three-time National Book Award finalist Lauren Groff. She also acquires and edits select prize-winning books for Riverhead, including recent works by bestselling writers Sophie Elmhirst, Katherine May, Patricia Lockwood, and Pico Iyer.
She was the Antarctica Artist in Residence, for which she was featured on the cover of Poets & Writers, and her nonfiction and poetry has appeared in The New York Review of Books, The New York Times, n+1, Glamour, Food & Wine, PBS Newshour, and The Antarctic Sun, among other places.
