Macaria España

Macaria España is a Mexican novelist, cultural commentator, and scholar of contemporary Latin American literature.

With a PhD in Aesthetic Theory, she has focused her research on the narrative representation of violence in women’s writing. Her work moves between crime fiction, literary autofiction, and urban reportage, exploring how memory, instability, and gender shape narrative in contemporary Mexico.
