Verónica Maza

Verónica Maza is a journalist, writer, comprehensive sexuality educator, and cultural manager with a distinguished career in media and literature. She holds a degree in Communication from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana and a specialization in Sexual Information and Education in Spain, combined with studies in human development, literature, and cultural management. In journalism, she has a solid career at Grupo Milenio as reporter, editor, host, and columnist, where she also coordinates the Librotea literary recommendations platform for Latin America, alongside collaborations with various national and international radio and television outlets.

As a sex wellness educator and expert, she has hosted flagship programs on tv channels such as Canal Once and Canal 22, taught courses at UNAM, and founded an agency that develops communication campaigns and focuses on writer representation and editorial management. In her literary work, she is the author of novels and essays such as EL MOTEL DE LOS ANTOJOS PROHIBIDOS (The Motel of the Forbidden Cravings), ¡MADRES! (Damn), and SINFONÍA DEL PLACER (Symphony of Pleasure), as well as educational books on preventing child abuse and gender equity—an integrated effort that has earned her multiple awards in journalism, poetry, and public health.
