Session Details
Saturday, February 13 · 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
$250
Most authors approach their book launch the same way — we build a to-do list, try to do everything, run out of time and money, and sometimes wonder why it didn’t work. The problem isn’t effort. It’s the absence of a strategic framework.
We often over-invest in the one part of marketing that costs the most and converts the least — building awareness. But awareness without investing in social proof or giving readers a concrete reason to act is an expensive way to generate interest that never converts to sales.
The good news is that a successful book launch doesn’t require a massive platform, or a list of a hundred activities.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll work on building an effective launch plan using a framework that covers the four elements every successful launch needs:
- Strong foundations (which includes your target reader profile, book categories and keywords)
- Social Proof (the many ways to get others talking about your book)
- Awareness
- Reasons to Act
We’ll examine how the balance between these four elements can shift dramatically depending on your budget — and why authors with the smallest budgets often get where to spend wrong.
By the end of this session, you’ll leave with a plan to apply to your next successful launch.
